Control Panel for Seamless Switches
A simple control panel, using serial connectivity (on XLR cable) that can be desk mounted or flush mounted into a desk. Preview and Main is shown via the colour of the input select switches. The switches have great tactile feedback. Positive feedback ensures the switches always follow what is on the front panel. A single take button keeps the panel clean and easy to use. To date this unit has only been hard coded for the BARCO DCS 200. We will add more definitions to the unit upon request.
VcP
The Video Control Panel (VcP), gives a remote control for seamless switches. It has 10 selector switches where the tenth input is printed as LOGO. Auto login to the serial input ensures simple connectivity. Constant interrogation of the video switcher will confirm and show the action and the channels selected. Green will show the channel is in Preview and Red that the channel is in Main. The Take Switch will turn Red for the duration of the Take. When changing from one preview channel to another the corresponding input select switches will both show Green while the Seamless switcher acquires the new input.
The VcP has been designed for client use but Directors and Technicians alike
will also find it invaluable, easy to use and compact.
